Day 4 - June 26th Grand Island, Nebraska and Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer
We left Omaha, Nebraska to tour the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer in Grand Island, Nebraska and Concert at Camp Augustine.
We left from Omaha, Nebraska and traveled to the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer located in Grand Island, Nebraska. There we were treated with a museum full of interesting artifacts, a recreated prairire village complete with working blacksmith shop, a grain mill, train station, and several preserved homes. One of the homes turned out to be the childhood home of Henry Fonda. Later we traveled to Camp Augustine and managed to get the bus stuck in the parking lot. We went ahead and unloaded everything while camp staff tried to free the stuck bus. We ate dinner and then went to their Fire Ring to play a concert. This is one of those fun concerts where the staff and campers got up and danced while we played. While we were playing a wrecker had been called and we loaded up after the concert and headed to the hotel.
