Day 2 - June 24th Pony Express Museum and Jesse James House at the Patee House
We left Hannibal for St. Joseph, Missouri to visit the Pony Express Museum, the Jesse James House and the Patee House.
We ate breakfast at the Best Western in Hannibal, Missouri and then walked down to the Mark Twain Boyhood Museum and Plaza and was allowed to tour the Mark Twain Boyhood Home for about an hour before we left for St. Joseph, Missouri. We stopped along the way in Cameron, Missouri to get lunch at Wendy's and a Pizza Place. Then we made the last 30 minutes travel to St. Joseph, Missouri and the home of the Pony Express. We arrived at the Patee House (pronounced "Pate-ee") to set up in the Blue Room to play a concert. After we managed to clean up and pack away everything in less than 15 minutes, we toured the Patee House with the Pony Express museum and the Jesse James house immediately next door. We left for the Hampton Inn to check in early, then we found dinner at the "El Maguey" mexican themed restaurant. The crew then returned to the Hampton Inn to rest and play Majik Cards and games in the lobby.
