We left St. Joseph, Missouri to visit the Boys Town site near Omaha, Nebraska and the Mormon Trail Migration to Zion at the Mormon Trail Center.
We left St. Joseph, Missouri to visit the Boys Town site at Omaha, Nebraska. When we arrived at Boys Town it was raining, so we decided not to play a concert. It rained all day long. Our tour guide named Katie got on the bus and had us drive around the Boys Town campus to see the original buildings and the new family style dormitories. Then we got off the bus to tour the Dowd Chapel, the Hall of History, and the original home of Father Flanagan. We had lunch at the Visitors Center. Then we ventured over to the Mormon Trail Center to see the interactive displays in the museum center about the Mormon Trail Migration to Zion.
