Crossroads of America Scout Band
2016 Western Tour

Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Hard Rock, and Fun

The day started with a long drive from Rapid City, SD to Sioux City, IA. After about seven hours of bus time, we arrived at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and set-up for our concert in record time. Two local news channels were there to film our concert for the evening news. The personnel at the Interpretive Center provided a reception for us after the concert. It just wouldn’t be a band tour without a visit to a Hard Rock. So we went to the Sioux City Hard Rock Hotel and enjoyed a buffet dinner featuring cuisine from all over the world. After dinner, we started our corn hole tournament. Everyone participated in teams of four. A great time was had by all.
