2014 Pensacola Tour Page
Welcome to the 2014 Pensacola Tour to the Deep South and Pensacola Florida to see the home base of the Blue Angels!
We were on the road again and posted photos and updates from each days' events on our Facebook Group. The Band toured and played from Camp Belzer to Graceland at Memphis, Tennessee; Mobile Alabama to see the USS Alabama; Pensacola Florida to see the National Naval Aviation Museum and the home of the Blue Angels; Destin, Florida to play at Destin on the Beach; and downtown Nashville, Tennessee . The Tour started on July 13th and lasted through July 20th, 2014!
Day One - Travel to Memphis, Tennessee and Elvis Presley's Graceland Mansion and Museum.





















Day Two - Travel to Mobile, Alabama to visit the USS Alabama and play a concert inside the aircraft pavilion with dinner at Tacky Jacks.
Day Three - Mobile, Alabama to visit the USS Alabama again and get rained out during a concert aboard the USS Alabama with dinner at Lambert's Cafe - "Home of the Throwed Roll".
Day Four - Pensacola, Flordia to visit the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola, played two concerts due to rainout of the Blue Angels practice, then visited Fort Barrancas with pizza for laundry night at the hotel.
Day Five - Return to National Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola to tour the museum, then on to Pensacola Lighthouse to climb the 177 steps to the top, then on to Johnsons' Beach for a hot dog and hamburger cookout provided by Band Alumni Pete and Christine Lindstrum.
Day Six - Traveled to Destin, Florida along the Emerald Coast to play a concert at Camp Gulf with dinner at Fudpucker's and launching laterns at dark on the beach.
Day Seven - Travel to Nashville, Tennessee with lunch on the road only to be delayed at Dodge City, Alabama with a missing taillight from the bus with dinner later at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville. Thanks to Ray's & Gerald's Truck Service in Dodge City, Alabama for coming to the rescue!
Day Eight - "Back Home Again in Indiana" and return to Camp Belzer.
