Day 1 - July 2nd - We're on the Road Again!
Lunch and Travel Day
Day One of our 2022 Tour of the Great Lakes. The bus was 30 minutes late because the air conditioner went out on the first bus so it was swapped before it arrived at Belzer. We stopped to get our lunch out at Salem OH and ate them on the bus to get extra time in the Erie Maritime Museum. After a quick tour of the Museum we walked a short distance and boarded the Lettie G. Howard, a fishing schooner from the late 1800s. Four members of our Crew went to the Lady Kate for a tour of the coastline and a history lesson. We then ate dinner at Sarah's Restaurant next to Lake Erie and walked to the shore to experience Lake Superior. We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Erie, PA.
